I’m looking to move on Friday, September 1st and I have an unusual move, which is a 3-part move. The toal list of items is above in the check-off section of this site, but the details of each pieces' location is noted below. I need to pick up items from the following places before we eventually move all of the items to Weehawken, NJ. Pick-Up # 1 Location: Carthage Road – Scarsdale, NY (Zip 10583) All items are in the garage, so the moving truck can back right up the driveway and load directly into the truck: Items are as follows: - 3 lamps (floor lamps) - 2 loveseat sofas - Round pub table and 2 bar stools - 2 bikes - Treadmill - Kitchen table and 4 chairs - 36” TV and stand - 15” TV (dvd/tv combo unit) - 4 boxes Pick-Up # 2 Location: 214 East 82nd Street – NYC (Zip 10028) This apartment is a fourth floor walk-up. Items are as follows: - Loveseat sofa - Buffet table - 2 stools - 4 milk-crate boxes - 4 cardboard boxes (some fragile items like plates and glasses) - 6 black garbage bags of clothes Pick-Up # 3 Location: 405 East 82nd Street – NYC (Zip 10028) This place is 2 blocks from Pick-Up location #2. This building does have an elevator, but there are three stairs in the lobby before the elevator. Items are as follows: - Sofa - Ottoman - 2 dressers - Armoire - Chest of drawers (5 drawer bureau) - Corner shelf unit (no more than 3’ tall) - 2 wooden crates (similar in size to trunks) - Standing glass floor vase - Standing fan - 6 suitcases - 40-50 boxes (only a few will be fragile with plates, glasses and electronics) - Queen bed - 3 mirrors - Frames artwork (roughly 8 pieces) - 2 end tables - 32” TV with stand - 25” TV - 4 speaker stands (no more than 1 lbs. each) - 2 area rugs - Golf Clubs - Office chair - 2 plastic chairs After picking up the items from the three places mentioned above, all items in truck will then be unloaded at the following address: Final Destination 40 Columbia Terrace Weehawken, NJ 07086 The final destination is a two-floor walk-up apartment in a house. I’m assuming we’ll need 3-4 movers and a large truck (22' - 24’ ft. truck????). I unfortunately do not have flexibility on my date of moving, and I’d like to pick-ups to go in the sequence mentioned above. Ideally we’d like to start the move around 8-9 AM.
